Hi new user here,
I DL'd the free pkg. Went to my DL list. I have PC x64 Win7. DL'd Daz Studio and installed it just fine.
Tried Genesis starter next and the download speed immediately started going lower and lower and lower until it hit zero.
I have Cable internet 10mb/s it's noon on a Sunday. After sitting at 0 for awhile I cancelled and tried again. Did the same thing, started low and just counted down to zero. I no longer have any available DLs for that pkg now. And am sure I don't have it DL'd.

I next went to the GoZ it also started low but finished before it could get crippling slow. Installed and appears to be good.
Same exact thing for Decimator.

I don't know what Decimator is. And I don't have Photoshop.

So I clicked the DaZ Studio icon on my desk top and immediately get
DaZ studio has encountered a fatal error and needs to close.
I can't submit a bug because the button is greyed out. And the link takes me to a login that won't let me log in saying
"Your account may be disabled or blocked or the username/password you entered is incorrect"
Yet here I am on the forums and no where else do I get that I am blocked or disabled.

DAZStudio.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\Windows\system32\atio6axx.dll" at 0033:00000000086FD218, DrvSwapBuffers()+184 byte(s)

    The bug tracker is a separate system from the store and forums, so you would need to create an account. It looks as if the crash is related to your video card/chipset so the first thing to do is to check for updated drivers (from ATI/AMD rather than Microsoft).

    First, keep trying for the Genesis Starter Essentials...also log out of DAZ completely (store/forums), clear the DAZ cookies, clear the browser cache and restart your browser...then log in and try to download it again. If you've run out of downloads...just reset it, from the order history.

    The second problem...update your video drivers. The problem is with the ATI/AMD video driver...

    Not entirely sure, but it could, depending on the OpenGL level the card supports.  OpenGL is used for UI elements, especially the viewport and if it isn't properly supported a crash can occur.

    My best advice right now, go ahead with a support ticket.
