Any chance we can have a 'Product Updates' forum?

Humble suggestion here,
But IMO it would be really nice to have a 'Product Updates' forum where vendors could let customers know they have a product update avaliable.
Right now there there is no comprehensive way telling what has been updated and what has not, customers do not get email notifications, and there is no version numbering on the product thumbnails in the store, so the forum is all we got - but in the commons and commercial products forums it gets scattered around and burried pretty quick, it would be nice to have all the updates listed in one exclusive place.
Alot of work goes in to product updates sometimes and it kind of sucks, that its so hard to get the word out.

Just a thought.

I agree this would be a nice thing to have. There was a 'Product Updates' forum on the old site.

Actually, I would prefer an email ("A product you purchased has been updated ...") or, better yet, an RSS feed.

yeah Ive seen the threads, better than nothing I guess.
emails would be the best solution, but AFAIK there are no plans for this.
